The meeting pointed out that since the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, agricultural and rural departments have coordinated drug safety and industrial development, paid close attention to the comprehensive management of veterinary antibacterial drugs and industry supervision, and achieved "double reduction" in the total drug use and drug use per unit of animal product output, and "double increase" in the output value of veterinary drugs and the qualified rate of quality sampling inspections, with remarkable results. However, problems such as lax implementation of systems in the production, operation and use of veterinary drugs still exist, and the level of standardized drug use by farmers and breeding households needs to be improved. We must adhere to a problem-oriented approach, effectively strengthen the comprehensive management of veterinary antibacterial drugs, focus on key links of the industrial chain such as feed, breeding and slaughtering to implement detailed supervision on standardized drug use, further implement the "antibacterial reduction" action in breeding, steadily promote the monitoring, analysis and guidance of breeding drug use, give play to the joint efforts of departments, and jointly promote the management work.

The meeting emphasized that agricultural and rural departments at all levels should focus on "preventing risks, protecting safety and ensuring supply", optimize the industrial structure, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, improve the quality system, strictly enforce supervision and law enforcement, accelerate the high-quality development of the veterinary drug industry, and strive to achieve strong enterprises, strong technology, strong quality and strong supervision.
