Breaking Through and Renewal in the Veterinary Drug Industry

On February 23, 2025, the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Further Deepening Rural Reform and Solidly Advancing the Comprehensive Revitalization of Rural Areas," also known as the No. 1 Central Document of 2025, was officially released. This document holds a pivotal position in China's work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. It is the 13th No. 1 Central Document guiding this work since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The document provides a comprehensive and detailed deployment of further deepening rural reform, solidly advancing the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas, and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, drawing a grand blueprint for the development of China's agriculture and rural sectors.

The document particularly emphasizes "supporting the stable development of animal husbandry," a measure of profound significance. As a vital component of agriculture, animal husbandry plays a key role in ensuring the stable supply of agricultural products such as meat, increasing farmers' incomes, and promoting rural economic development. In recent years, due to various factors, animal husbandry has faced numerous challenges, such as fluctuations in hog production capacity and difficulties in the beef and dairy industries, making the stabilization of animal husbandry development an urgent priority. Through policies aimed at stabilizing hog production capacity and alleviating difficulties in the beef and dairy industries, the healthy development of animal husbandry can be effectively ensured, meeting the demand for animal products such as meat, eggs, and milk, maintaining market stability, and thereby promoting the prosperity of the entire agricultural industry.
